Dear Patient,
We hope that you and your family are staying safe and healthy during these difficult times. At Cellura Dental, we have been preparing for reopening our practice for routine dental care. As always it is a high priority to keep our patients and staff safe. We will continue to maintain our infection control protocols while also adding some changes to insure patient safety during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Currently our office follows infection control guidelines from the American Dental Association (ADA), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow these agencies closely for any new rulings or guidance to make sure that our infection control
procedures are current and in the best interest of our patients and staff.
During your next office visit, you might notice some changes in our protocol to help keep you and our staff safe. For example:
- You will be asked by our staff over the phone some screening questions related to Covid-19. These questions will be repeated during your visit as well.
- Your temperature will be taken prior to your appointment. If you have a fever you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.
- We ask that you apply hand sanitizer upon entering our facility. We will try and provide hand sanitizer for you. However, due shortages of hand sanitizer it would be helpful if you bring your own in case we having trouble replenishing our supply.
- We may ask you to call in and wait in your car prior to your appointment, to prevent overcrowding in our reception area.
- Our waiting room will no longer contain magazines and children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to sanitize.
- We ask that only essential people come with you to your appointment, this helps reduce the amount of people in our reception area. Our team is very excited to see you again, and we are looking forward to providing you with high quality care in a safe environment. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any question about your upcoming appointment or any of our new protocols.
Sincerely,
Cellura Dental team
